HOW IS YOUR PRAYER LIFE?

The function of prayer is not to influence God, but rather to change the nature of the one who prays. Prayer is not so much talking to or adressing God, but rather about deepening our awareness that God comes to visible expression in us. Since prayer and action go together, the next time you pray for peace, healing, reconciliation or something else worth praying for, remember that what you're doing is committing youself to working for God.

PHONE A FRIEND MINISTRY

A ministry that is provided for people who want someone to check on them. It involves people who are willing to phone someone everyday and check on how that person is doing and people who need to be called on every day or every other day so that a feeling of security and caring happens. If you are interested in providing or receiving a phone call, please contact Dorothy Simonson, 894-8490.

TRANSPORT-A-FRIEND MINISTRY

Do you have a doctor's appointment? Need to go shopping or visit a friend?

Please contact the office if you need a ride or would like to provide one at least two days in advance.

CHURCH TABLE AND CHAIRS USE

If you are a member of our church & would like to borrow tables or chairs, PLEASE call the church office between 8–11 pm, 893-3265, to make arrangements. Put equipment away promptly & properly. The white tables and chairs in the fellowship hall can't be removed from the church.
